Technology in Sports

Technology has influenced sports tremendously over the years. Technology helps teams prepare for games, look at their own skills, and better themselves by seeing what they are not good at and what they do wrong. In my opinion, technology has made coaching a little easier because their athletes can watch film to learn mistakes or to learn about other teams instead of the coach needing to explain everything first hand to all his athlets on a mouth-to-mouth basis. Technology has also had a big influence on how sports are watched today. Television has upgraded dramtically over the past few years with high definition television and plasma tvs. If you watch the Super Bowl this weekend you will see all the technology that is put into the game so it is viewed at the best quality possible.

I agree with you. The way sports are viewed today, in there many different ways, have really changed from the few ways they were viewed before. The quality of the viewing is thousands of times of that before. There really is no comparison of the viewing pleasure we have today compaired to that of before.

I also agree with the technology making it easier for the athletes. They can study films for the game to help them prepare more for the upcoming game. The television is crazy what they have come to. Not even worth going to games anymore expecially in the cold weather games. I'm looking forward to see what they are going to come up with in the next few years.
